The NZ National Show Jumping & Show Hunter Championships, are held at the South Island National Equestrian Centre, McLeans Island, Christchurch from 9th – 12th February 2017.

This is a four day equestrian event showcasing New Zealand's most popular Equestrian sport.

 The NZ National Show Jumping & Show Hunter Championships was first held in 1995.

The event is run by the South Island Show Jumping Committee, with each area (Malborough/Nelson, Canterbury, Ashburton, SCNO, Otago & Southland) working together to ensure the show is a success.

 

The Rutherford Cup  is awarded to the winner of the Senior Horse Show Jumping Championship, and was donated by B G Rutherford.
